Jamie Bernstein, daughter of legendary composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein, joins the Orlando Philharmonic for a must-see program. Jamie embodies a profound connection to her father’s music and is an advocate for his musical legacy. The vibrant Candide Overture, the energetic Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, jazz rhythms from On the Town, and the ethereal beauty of Mahler’s Symphony No. 4. Jamie will share her insights into the music and Leonard’s interpretations, reflecting on the understanding and emotional connection to the music.
